Journalism & Broadcasting Awards

This scholarship was established by the Communication Department and consists of two awards: (A) honors a promising Journalism and Broadcasting major who, upon beginning his/her junior year, has demonstrated exceptional scholastic merit, professional promise, and/or a distinguished record of contributions to the College and community and (B) acknowledges an exceptional senior Journalism and Broadcasting major who has demonstrated versatility by excelling both in and out of the classroom.

To be considered for this opportunity you must apply through the “All Journalism, Public Relations and Broadcasting Scholarships" application.

The financial assistance is in the form of a educational expense grant that may be used to cover educational costs such as room, board or college fees. The award will be credited to the recipient’s bill during the semester(s) of the award period. The student must use this award for educational expenses at the College and may not receive the award in cash.
