BASC and Pepsi Beverages Company Scholarship

The Brockport Auxiliary Services Corporation provides key support services to SUNY Brockport. As a non-profit 501© 3 corporation located on the Brockport campus, BASC operates dining, catering and vending services, conferences and events, ATMs, Campus ID services, and transportation.

BASC is the largest student employer on campus with approximately 350 students working in service operations. Annually, BASC pays student employees a combined total of nearly $1.3 million in wages. BASC fosters student success while enhancing the quality of campus life and supporting the strategic initiatives of the College.

PepsiCo is one of the world’s leading food and beverage companies with products sold in more than 200 countries and territories around the world.

Pepsi Beverages Company, part of PepsiCo’s North American Beverages Division, is the pouring rights partner of BASC. In recognition of its business relationship with BASC, Pepsi Beverages Company established the BASC/Pepsi Scholarships with a $5,000 annual donation to honor student employees of BASC who have demonstrated a commitment to excellence in the workplace. Pepsi Scholarships range in value from $500 to $3,000.

At Brockport, the BASC/Pepsi Scholarships recognize student employees of BASC who are either graduate or undergraduate students, who have a 3.0 GPA or better, and who worked for BASC for at least 200 hours in the calendar year before the scholarship was awarded.
