Birkins Family Scholarship

Deborah Birkins, Director of Academic Advisement and Retention at Brockport, established a scholarship in memory of her family members at SUNY Brockport.

The Birkins Family Scholarship recognizes a student who has completed at least one year of study at Brockport, with a GPA range that does not meet the threshold for an academic scholarship, but does qualify the student for continued study. The student must also demonstrate need for financial assistance as evidenced by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, showing that the student would not be able to continue studies at Brockport without receipt of this award.
