Brockport Foundation Diversity Scholarship
Funded by both the Brockport Foundation and the SUNY Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, the Brockport Foundation Diversity Scholarships recognize students with a record of high academic achievement who contribute to the diversity of the student body in their program or school.
Applicants must be SUNY Brockport students, who are United States citizens or permanent residents who reside in New York State, and who are overcoming a disadvantage or another impediment to success in higher education. Although financial need is not a requirement, economic disadvantage can be a diversity indicator. Other diversity indicators might include physical or other disability, first-generation college student status, and a non-English speaking background.,
Membership in a racial/ethnic group that is under-represented in the program or school may serve as a factor, but not the sole basis for a diversity award.
This program evaluates each applicant on their own merits.
