Cassidy Ball Memorial Scholarship

Cassidy Ball Memorial Scholarship

When he passed away in 2007, Cassidy Ball was an honors student in the Department of Accounting in the School of Business and Management at SUNY Brockport. His family and friends, led by his mother, Mary Lou Peppers, established a scholarship to recognize a student who demonstrates a commitment to excellence in a career in accounting or finance, just as Cassidy did.

Qualified applicants will be graduate or undergraduate students in accounting or finance in the School of Business and Management, and have completed at least 60 hours of undergraduate study at Brockport with a GPA of 3.4 or better. Applicants also should demonstrate a strong commitment to school or community service through extracurricular or volunteer activities and the potential for excellence in a career in accounting or finance. For consideration, applicants should submit a one-page paper outlining their ethical principles and describing how they will apply these principles in their personal and professional life.
