Class of 1964 Teaching Scholarship

Members of the Class of 1964 established the Class of 1964 Teaching Scholarship to recognize an outstanding student who is accepted into the teacher certification program at SUNY Brockport.

Applicants should be accepted into the undergraduate program with two semesters of study remaining, possess a GPA of at least 3.0, and submit an essay describing what leads them to believe they will be an effective teacher and why they believe they deserve this scholarship. In addition, applicant should provide two letters of recommendation, one from a member of the Brockport Department of Education and Human Development faculty and the other from any Brockport faculty or staff member.

Applicants who have a family member who is a graduate of SUNY Brockport and have met all other requirements, will receive preference.
