COSAC Scholarship
President emeritus John E. Van de Wetering established the College Office Support Advisory Committee (COSAC) in 1984 to address the unique concerns of office support staff at SUNY Brockport. The primary responsibilities for COSAC include providing suggestions for enhancing communication, suggesting in-service training, and coordinating functions and social gatherings to encourage communication among various areas on campus.
The friends and family of COSAC members established this scholarship to recognize an outstanding child or grandchild of a COSAC member who demonstrates the potential for excellence.
Applicants must be the child or grandchild or a current or retired COSAC member. They may be an incoming freshman or transfer student or a current undergraduate or graduate student. Applicants also must demonstrate the potential to receive their baccalaureate degree.
