Frank Beltran Memorial Scholarship
Frank Beltran was an enthusiastic and vibrant member of the SUNY Brockport business faculty. He passed away from cancer at age 35 in 2005. A native of Peru, Mr. Beltran also was completing a doctorate in education at the University of Rochester. In 2006, the Frank Beltran Memorial Scholarship was established from the generosity of faculty colleagues and the proceeds of student-run businesses in Project Management.
The Frank Beltran Memorial Scholarship recognizes an outstanding student in the School of Business and Management who demonstrates collegiality, citizenship, dedication, and commitment to the community. To qualify, students must be a declared major in a degree-granting program in the School of Business and Management and have completed at least 64 credits at Brockport with a minimum of 15 credits in the School of Business and Management at the time of selection.
