International Experience Scholarship

International Experience Scholarship

Friends of the Office of International Education, now the Center for Global Education and Engagement, established this scholarship to provide grants for SUNY Brockport students to gain international experiences through study-abroad programs, internships, or co-operative education.

This scholarship was largely funded through the generosity of Dr. Robert McLean, an emeritus faculty member from the Department of History. Dr. McLean also served as assistant vice president for Academic Affairs in the late 1990s and early 2000s.

Students who wish to apply for the International Experience Scholarship must be accepted into an approved Brockport study-abroad program, have a minimum GPA of 3.0, and demonstrate academic excellence as determined by the Center for Global Education and Engagement selection committee.
