Mr. Patrick Roberts ’10 and Mrs. Edita Salkic-Roberts ’11 Scholarship in Business
Patrick M. Roberts ’10 and Edita Salkic-Roberts ’11 established a scholarship in their names at SUNY Brockport to recognize an outstanding student in the School of Business and Management at the College.
Mr. Roberts earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting in 2010, and the following year earned his Certified Public Accountant accreditation. He worked for a public firm, gaining knowledge and experience.
He then opened his own firm, Roberts Accounting, CPAs, PC, where client success, confidentiality, and integrity are the guiding principles. Roberts Accounting, CPAs has offices in Hilton and Spencerport and maintains a growing staff to serve the multifaceted needs of clients.
Mrs. Roberts also earned a bachelor’s degree from Brockport’s School of Business and Management. Her degree is in Business Administration with a concentration in Management, and she worked in marketing before helping her husband build his business.
The couple has three children and two dogs. They enjoy spending time with family and friends and in community volunteer work.
Applicants for the Mr. Patrick Roberts ’10 and Mrs. Edita Salkic-Roberts ’11 Scholarship in Business must be enrolled full time in any major within the School of Business and Management at Brockport. They must be entering their junior or senior years and have a minimum GPA of 3.0. Preference will go to applicants who show an interest in international affairs and/or have participated in a study-abroad program; demonstrate their leadership skills through participation in one or more student organizations, and possess a character defined by honesty, integrity, perseverance, and respect.
