Robert E. Hall Memorial Scholarship in Mathematics

Dr. Robert E. Hall, a native of New Castle, PA, began his career at SUNY Brockport in 1969. He was a faculty member in the former Department of Mathematics and Computer Science until his passing in 1986.

In recognition of his dedication as a teacher of mathematics and his many contributions to the faculty, staff, and students at Brockport, his colleagues established this scholarship in his memory.

Applicants for the Robert E. Hall Memorial Scholarship in Mathematics will be considered on the strengths of their GPAs overall and in mathematics as well as recommendations from department faculty. Special consideration will go to students who demonstrate strengths in abstract algebra and the use of computers in support of mathematics.
