William F. McEnery Scholarship

William F. McEnery established a scholarship at SUNY Brockport to recognize a first-generation college student in Brockport’s Department of Political Science and International Studies who has demonstrated the potential for excellence.

Qualified applicants must be a first-generation college student who is accepted into the Department of Political Science and International Studies, and lists either political science or international studies as their first major. Applicants must demonstrate academic excellence by maintaining a minimum GPA of 3.5 in the political science or international studies major, and they must exhibit a need for financial assistance as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Preference will go to non-traditional students who have taken a break of two-to-five years between high school and college.
