Michael Weaver Washington Semester Award
This scholarship recognizes matriculated undergraduate students at Brockport who are accepted into a fall or spring Washington Semester Program. Students must be a junior or senior at time of participation, have completed 12 hours of political science or international studies courses prior to participation, have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better, and demonstrate effective communication skills. Students must document their financial need with a copy of their official financial aid award letter.
This award is selected by the Washington Semester Program selection committee and does not accept applications.
The financial assistance is in the form of a non-tuition educational expense grant that may be used to cover educational costs such as room, board or college fees. The award will be credited to the recipient’s bill during the semester(s) of the award period. The student must use this award for educational expenses at the College and may not receive the award in cash.
