Edwin Smart '91 and Renee Smart '90 Scholarship for Arts and Sciences

The Smart family established this scholarship to recognize an engaged student in the Arts and Sciences at SUNY Brockport. Eligible students must be enrolled in full-time studies as a Mathematics, Science, or Art major and possess a minimum GPA of 3.0. Recipients will be students who participate in one or more campus organizations or activities that demonstrates their leadership skills and/or involved in their local community and possess a character that demonstrates the attributes of honesty, integrity, perseverance, and respect.

This is an Auto-Match Opportunity. Applicants are auto-matched to this award based on their submission of their General Application.

The financial assistance is in the form of a non-tuition educational expense grant that may be used to cover educational costs such as room, board or college fees. The award will be credited to the recipient’s bill during the semester(s) of the award period. The student must use this award for educational expenses at the College and may not receive the award in cash.
