Heroes for the Common Good Scholarship

This scholarship recognizes incoming students into the Public Administration program at SUNY Brockport.
Eligible students must:

• Be accepted incoming graduate student in the Nonprofit Management Certificate and, or in the Public Administration program (MPA) at SUNY Brockport.
• Enroll at SUNY Brockport in the Department of Public Administration no later than one academic cycle from the date of the scholarship offer.
• Demonstrate academic excellence and commitment to persist through the program as judged by the selection committee.
• Be employed at an organization with a current 501©3 nonprofit status issued by New York State Department of State or the Internal Revenue Service of the United States Federal Government.

Eligible incoming students are considered for this opportunity based on their graduate admission application.

The financial assistance is in the form of an educational expense grant that may be used to cover educational costs. The student must use this award for educational expenses at the College and may not receive the award in cash.
