Campus Recreation Club Sport Scholarship
Established by the Office of Campus Recreation, this scholarship recognizes students who serve a leadership role in the Club Sports program and represents SUNY Brockport as exemplary student ambassadors in their club sport activities and contests. Applicants must be rising juniors or seniors, be in a leadership role in the club sports program, possess at least a cumulative GPA of 3.0, and submit a person statement (500 words or less) discussing the definition of a leader and how the applicant has demonstrated leadership within and outside the club sports program. The recipient must be returning for at least one semester after selection.
This is an Apply-To Opportunity. Applicants will need to submit one or more additional items to be considered for this award after submitting the General Application.
The financial assistance is in the form of a non-tuition educational expense grant that may be used to cover educational costs such as room, board or college fees. The award will be credited to the recipient’s bill during the semester(s) of the award period. The student must use this award for educational expenses at the College and may not receive the award in cash.
