Lathan H. and Alyce M. Lampen Award

This award recognizes an undergraduate student who is dedicated to creating and advancing a humane society through their service to others, leadership values that are essential to individual dignity, and by possessing a positive, constructive outlook on life. Applicants must possess a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, completed at least one academic year or 30 credits at Brockport, and have at least one academic year of study remaining. Candidates must include a personal statement that demonstrates how they are a student whose leadership and service to others reflects the promotion and development of values that are essential to individual dignity and a humane society.

To be considered for this opportunity you must apply through the “Student Engagement Scholarships & Awards Application”.

The financial assistance is in the form of a tuition educational expense grant that may be used to cover educational costs such as room, board or college fees. The award will be credited to the recipient’s bill during the semester(s) of the award period. The student must use this award for educational expenses at the College and may not receive the award in cash.
