P. Gibson Ralph Technical Theatre Scholarship

This scholarship recognizes an outstanding incoming student (freshman or transfer) or a continuing Theatre major at SUNY Brockport who has demonstrated commitment and potential for excellence in the career of theatre design/technology. Applicants must have declared an intent or be a current theatre major, demonstrate academic excellence as judged by the selection committee, and demonstrate their potential for excellence in a career on theatre design/technology as judged by the selection committee. All applicants will be considered with a preference given to applicants who identify as women.

This is an Apply-To Opportunity. Applicants will need to submit one or more additional items to be considered for this award after submitting the General Application.

The financial assistance is in the form of a non-tuition educational expense grant that may be used to cover educational costs such as room, board or college fees. The award will be credited to the recipient’s bill during the semester(s) of the award period. The student must use this award for educational expenses at the College and may not receive the award in cash.
