Kathleen Krebs Scholarship
This scholarship recognizes an adult graduate student, aged 25 years or more, accepted into the Department of Counselor Education, and who is beginning graduate education for the first time or a student who is returning to school after taking time off to raise a family or pursue other interests. First preference to students who identify as a woman and a second preference to any accepted student in the counselor education program who is 25 years of age or older.
This is an Apply-To Opportunity. Applicants will need to submit a required essay demonstrating a passion for the counseling profession to be considered for this award after submitting the General Application.
The financial assistance is in the form of a check if the recipient is a graduate of SUNY Brockport before the fall semester of the award period. If the recipient is not a graduate by the start of the fall semester of the award period, the financial assistance will be credited to the recipient’s bill during the semester(s) of the award period and the student must use this award for educational expenses at the College.
