Harvey A. Dorfman '57 Scholarship

This scholarship recognizes a student in the Department of English who plans to teach English at the secondary level (6th grade or above), has completed at least one year at SUNY Brockport, possesses at least a 3.5 Brockport cumulative GPA, and who demonstrates excellence as judged by the selection committee.

To be considered for this opportunity you must apply through the “All Department of English Scholarships" application.

The financial assistance is in the form of a educational expense grant that may be used to cover educational costs such as room, board or college fees. The award will be credited to the recipient’s bill during the semester(s) of the award period. The student must use this award for educational expenses at the College and may not receive the award in cash.
