Rochester Kiwanis Scholarship

This scholarship recognizes an outstanding incoming, first-time freshman student who is dedicated to service. Eligible students are those with permanent residency in Monroe County, NY, who plan to enroll with full-time status in their first academic year, and who demonstrate academic achievement and the promise to succeed in their chosen academic course of study as judged by the selection committee. Preference will be provided to applicants who show great scholastic promise and who possess an academic profile not eligible for scholarship opportunities in the Extraordinary Academic Scholarship program.

Eligible incoming students are considered for this opportunity based on their undergraduate admission application.

The financial assistance is in the form of a educational expense grant that may be used to cover educational costs such as room, board or college fees. The award will be credited to the recipient’s bill during the semester(s) of the award period. The student must use this award for educational expenses at the College and may not receive the award in cash.
