Donald and Gloria Huot Excellence in Leadership Award

This award recognizes an entering junior or senior year student who demonstrates strong academic achievement and leadership skills through service to the College and/or community. Preference is given to first-generation college students. Applicants must have an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher and return for study at Brockport after receiving the award. This scholarship was established by Anne E. Huot, former Provost and VP of Academic Affairs, in honor of her parents.

To be considered for this opportunity you must apply through the “Campus Wide Student Leadership Scholarships & Awards Application”.

The financial assistance is in the form of a non-tuition educational expense grant that may be used to cover educational costs such as room, board or college fees. The award will be credited to the recipient’s bill during the semester(s) of the award period. The student must use this award for educational expenses at the College and may not receive the award in cash.
