President's Citation Award
The President’s Citation is SUNY Brockport’s highest award for a graduating senior who has demonstrated outstanding scholastic merit (a GPA of at least 3.75), a strong record of co-curricular activities, significant contributions to the College and community, and evidence of professional promise. This award was established in 1964 by the Office of the President, of what was then known as Brockport State Teachers College, under then President Donald Tower.
This award is selected from internal nominations within the three academic Schools at SUNY Brockport.
The financial assistance is in the form of a check if the recipient is a graduate of SUNY Brockport before the fall semester of the award period. If the recipient is not a graduate by the start of the fall semester of the award period, the financial assistance will be credited to the recipient’s bill during the semester(s) of the award period and the student must use this award for educational expenses at the College.
