Jack Wolsky Art Scholarship

This scholarship recognizes achievements and future potential of a currently enrolled Art major at SUNY Brockport. The applicant must show a high level of art talent for continuing achievement in art, and must have at least one semester of study at Brockport remaining after receiving this scholarship. Preference is given to a student who is a resident of Monroe County. Financial need is not a required criterion. Applicants must submit six examples of artwork (within the last year) completed as coursework on campus or at VSW as digital files and provide an image list for the artwork.

This is an Apply-To Opportunity. Applicants will need to submit one or more additional items to be considered for this award.

The financial assistance is in the form of a non-tuition educational expense grant that may be used to cover educational costs such as room, board or college fees. The award will be credited to the recipient’s bill during the semester(s) of the award period. The student must use this award for educational expenses at the College and may not receive the award in cash.
