Sara T. Jackson Award
This scholarship recognizes a student entering the junior year, has a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher, and demonstrate participation in activities that serve the College and/or community. This scholarship was established by the namesake who served the college from 1921-1957 and was the Associate Dean of Students. Eligible students must demonstrate high moral character, scholastic achievement, and involvement and participation in activities that servie and enhance the College-community.

The financial assistance is in the form of a educational expense grant that may be used to cover educational costs such as room, board or college fees. The award will be credited to the recipient’s bill during the semester(s) of the award period. The student must use this award for educational expenses at the College and may not receive the award in cash.
