Kerry Lynn Howe Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship encourages continuing undergraduate or graduate students in the Departments of Public Health and Health Education, Healthcare Studies, Social Work, or Nursing, to pursue a career as a successful group home administrator. Eligible students are accepted or enrolled in the beforementioned departments as rising juniors, rising seniors, entering or continuing graduate students, and who demonstrate academic excellence and by possessing a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Applicants must submit a personal statement giving insight into why those chose this career path and their vision for creating a successful group home.

This is an Apply-To Opportunity. Applicants will need to submit one or more additional items to be considered for this award after submitting the General Application.

The financial assistance is in the form of a non-tuition educational expense grant that may be used to cover educational costs such as room, board or college fees. The award will be credited to the recipient’s bill during the semester(s) of the award period. The student must use this award for educational expenses at the College and may not receive the award in cash.
