Brockport Dancers Against Racism Scholarship

This scholarship recognizes a SUNY Brockport Dance Major or Dance Major Intent, a Dance Minor, and/or participates in creative dance works via campus involvement at the undergraduate or graduate level. Preference be given to applicants who identify as a member of a historically underrepresented minority group and/or have overcome obstacles such as socioeconomic or educational disadvantages. If two candidates of equal consideration according to the other eligibility and criteria are present, greatest financial need, as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) minus any other awarded scholarships or grants, will be the deciding factor.

To be considered for this opportunity you must apply through the “All Department of Dance Scholarships" conditional application.

The financial assistance is in the form of a non-tuition educational expense grant that may be used to cover educational costs such as room, board or college fees. The award will be credited to the recipient’s bill during the semester(s) of the award period. The student must use this award for educational expenses at the College and may not receive the award in cash.
