Raye H. Conrad Migrant Worker Scholarship
This award recognizes a current or former migrant farm worker or member of a current or former migrant farm worker family, who is a full- or part-time student at SUNY Brockport when the scholarship is applied to the student’s bill, and who demonstrate an interest in learning that points to the potential for success as a college student as judged by the selection committee. The Brockport Migrant Education Officer or designee will verify migrant status. Note that this scholarship accepts applications until May 15th.
This is an Apply-To Opportunity. Applicants will need to submit one or more additional items to be considered for this award after submitting the General Application.
The financial assistance is in the form of a non-tuition educational expense grant that may be used to cover educational costs such as room, board or college fees. The award will be credited to the recipient’s bill during the semester(s) of the award period. The student must use this award for educational expenses at the College and may not receive the award in cash.
