Jennifer Lloyd Prize
This award recognizes an outstanding student at SUNY Brockport who has written the best paper in a Women and Gender Studies class. Eligible students must have submitted the paper for a Women & Gender Studies course and this is open to all majors at both the undergraduate and graduate level. Ideally the submission is from a course they are currently enrolled in or was previous enrolled dating back no more than two semesters from the time of selection, but all eligible papers will be considered. It was established by Jennifer Lloyd and Connie Gates.
This is an Apply-To Opportunity. Applicants will need to submit one or more additional items to be considered for this award after submitting the General Application.
The financial assistance is in the form of a check if the recipient is a graduate of SUNY Brockport before the fall semester of the award period. If the recipient is not a graduate by the start of the fall semester of the award period, the financial assistance will be credited to the recipient’s bill during the semester(s) of the award period and the student must use this award for educational expenses at the College.
