Gladys W. Queen Future Teacher Award

This scholarship encourages an outstanding graduate of Brockport High School, who attended Brockport High School for at least three years, and who is interested in pursuing a career as a future teacher at SUNY Brockport. The student must have earned at least a 3.0, or B, GPA, and be accepted into a teacher certification program at SUNY Brockport.

This award is selected by the Brockport Central School District and does not accept applications.

The financial assistance is in the form of a non-tuition educational expense grant that may be used to cover educational costs such as room, board or college fees. The award will be credited to the recipient’s bill during the semester(s) of the award period. The student must use this award for educational expenses at the College and may not receive the award in cash.
