Katharine M. Reichel Scholarship (Reichel Series)

This scholarship recognizes outstanding students accepted for study at SUNY Brockport at the undergraduate level, who possess leadership qualities, outstanding academic ability, and the potential for success as a future educator.

All eligible applications will be considered however, first preference will be given to high school seniors who identify as women. A second preference will be provided to applicants who attend a high school in Monroe County or in a school district where an Alpha Alpha member resides or is employed.

As a Reichel Scholar, you have the ability to renew your scholarship for a total of four years at Brockport. Upon meeting the eligibility guidelines each year, the recipient will receive the Dorothy E. Foster Scholarship for their sophomore year, in their junior year they will receive the Frances Moroney Whited Scholarship, and in their senior year they will receive the Mary I. Luskey Scholarship.

Eligible incoming students are considered for this opportunity based on their undergraduate admission application.

The financial assistance is in the form of a non-tuition educational expense grant that may be used to cover educational costs such as room, board or college fees. The award will be credited to the recipient’s bill during the semester(s) of the award period. The student must use this award for educational expenses at the College and may not receive the award in cash.
