Luisa E. Rios-Owens Scholarship

This scholarship recognizes one or more students majoring or minoring in Spanish, who demonstrates academic excellence, and is looking to further advance their knowledge, skills, and understanding of Spanish and Spanish speaking cultures with direct financial support from this award. The recipient can apply this award toward non-tuition college expenses (such as room, board, fees, etc.) on their student bill or toward study abroad expenses.

Applicants will respond to the question, “How would you utilize this scholarship to further advance your study of Spanish and Spanish speaking cultures?”.

This is an Apply-To Opportunity. Applicants will need to submit one or more additional items to be considered for this award after submitting the General Application.
