Arthur M. Lee History Award
This scholarship recognizes a major in the Department of History in their first full academic year. The recipient demonstrates academic excellence as evidenced by a cumulative Brockport GPA of 3.0 or better, and have completed, or is on track to complete, at least nine (9) credits in history at SUNY Brockport by the end of their first academic year. The fund honors Dr. Lee, Professor Emeritus of History, who taught at the College from 1941-1972.
To be considered for this opportunity you must apply through the “All Department of History Scholarships Application”.
The financial assistance is in the form of a non-tuition educational expense grant that may be used to cover educational costs such as room, board or college fees. The award will be credited to the recipient’s bill during the semester(s) of the award period. The student must use this award for educational expenses at the College and may not receive the award in cash.
