Frank and Carrie Sapienza Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship recognizes a transfer student, who previously studied at SUNY Monroe Community College before attending SUNY Brockport. Eligible applicants will or have already graduated from Monroe Community College, demonstrate a love of learning, commitment to higher education, and indicate their intended career plans. Eligible applicants will also demonstrate a need for financial assistance as judged by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) minus any other awarded scholarships or grants. First preference will be given to incoming transfer students at the time of application.

The financial assistance is in the form of a non-tuition educational expense grant that may be used to cover educational costs such as room, board or college fees. The award will be credited to the recipient’s bill during the semester(s) of the award period. The student must use this award for educational expenses at the College and may not receive the award in cash.
