Dr. Kimberley D. Willis '05/'08 Scholarship

Established by Dr. Kimberley Willis, class of 2005 and 2008, this scholarship annually recognizes a transfer student from a community college who is pursuing any degree at SUNY Brockport.

Students must:
1. Be accepted for admission as an incoming transfer student from a community college and have already earned 24 or more credits.
2. Possess a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher.

All students eligible based on the aforementioned criteria have the opportunity to apply and compete. The ideal scholarship recipient is one who has experienced adversity which includes, but is not limited to, being an adult student (25 years of age or older) and, or have overcome obstacles such as socioeconomic or educational disadvantages.

Eligible incoming students are considered for this opportunity based on their undergraduate admission application.

The financial assistance is in the form of a non-tuition educational expense grant that may be used to cover educational costs such as room, board or college fees. The award will be credited to the recipient’s bill during the semester(s) of the award period. The student must use this award for educational expenses at the University and may not receive the award in cash.
