Sue A. & Dr. James M. Eddy Elementary Education Scholarship

Mrs. Sue and Dr. James Eddy established this scholarship to recognize and support a current teacher candidate who demonstrates promise for being an excellent future elementary educator.
To be eligible, students must:
1. Be enrolled at SUNY Brockport in the undergraduate Childhood Inclusive Education Multidisciplinary (Grades 1-6) Certification program.
2. Demonstrate satisfactory academic performance and be in good academic standing at SUNY Brockport at the time of selection.
3. Demonstrate a commitment to and the potential for excellence in the career of elementary education as determined by the selection committee.

To be considered for this opportunity you must apply through the “All Education and Human Development Scholarships" conditional application.

The financial assistance is in the form of a non-tuition educational expense grant that may be used to cover educational costs such as room, board or college fees. The award will be credited to the recipient’s bill during the semester(s) of the award period. The student must use this award for educational expenses at the College and may not receive the award in cash.
