Shiera D. Goff Indomitable Spirit Scholarship
As a single parent of two young sons, Shiera began her college journey determined to build a better life for her family. After pausing her studies, she returned to campus with renewed purpose—and it was then that a Brockport admissions counselor described her as possessing an “indomitable spirit.” She carried those words with her through every late-night paper, and every balancing act between parenting and coursework, ultimately completing her degree.
This scholarship celebrates that same unbreakable resolve. The Shiera D. Goff Indomitable Spirit Scholarship will be awarded each year to a single parent student who, like Shiera, strives not only for personal achievement but for a brighter future for their children.
