Jack Wolsky Art Scholarship

This scholarship was established by the Art Department in honor of Professor Jack Wolsky’s retirement after 26 years of service. An outstanding teacher and painter, Professor Wolsky has been an inspiration and a role model to all who have had the good fortune to know him. He is a product of the Rochester school system and was a recipient of a citywide art scholarship in his senior year. In honor of Professor Jack Wotsky’s many contributions to the greater Rochester community and his affinity to the Rochester school system, preference will be given to eligible students who reside in Monroe County.

This scholarship will be credited to the recipient’s bill in the form of a non-tuition educational expense grant, split evenly between the fall semester and the spring semester. It must be used for educational expenses and may not be received as cash.
