Blaine M. Delancey Memorial Award
This award was founded in memory and honor of Dr. Blaine M. De Lancey, Professor of English from 1934 to 1966. It is presented to an undergraduate or graduate major in the Department of English who has submitted the best essay written on a topic assigned and announced annually by the Department of English.
This scholarship will be credited to the recipient’s bill in the form of a non-tuition educational expense grant. If the recipient is graduating, they will receive a cash award instead.
