Henry Gould Award

This fund was established by the Department of Biology to perpetuate the memory of Dr. Henry Gould, professor of biology from 1943-1973. The scholarship will recognize an outstanding junior who is majoring in biology and has demonstrated academic excellence.

Eligible students must

1. Be a rising junior, who is majoring in biology, and is planning to enter the teaching profession.
2. Demonstrate academic excellence as shown by a GPA of at least 3.25.
3. Have completed at least 12 credit hours of the required biology courses at SUNY Brockport.

This scholarship will be credited to the recipient’s bill in the form of a non-tuition educational expense grant. It must be used for educational expenses and may not be received as cash.
