Ernest C. Hartwell Memorial Award

This fund was established by Mrs. Evadne Hartwell, friends and former students of Dr. Hartwell as a living memorial to his philosophy of “helping students help themselves.” Dr. Ernest C. Hartwell was President and Principal of the Brockport State Teachers College from 1936-1944.

This scholarship will be credited to the recipient’s bill in the form of a non-tuition educational expense grant. It must be used for educational expenses and may not be received as cash.
