Allen V. Upton Scholarship
This fund was established by Victoria Yager to memorialize her brother Allen’s generous nature, his achievements and respect for education. Allen V. Upton, who graduated from SUNY Brockport’s business administration and economics program in 1979 started his career with the Wall Street firm of Cantor Fitzgerald upon graduation. Allen was at work in his office at 1 World Trade Center on the morning of September 11, 2001. He was among the many who perished that day.
Eligible students must
- Be entering or continuing in the business administration and economics program as a major at SUNY Brockport.
- Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.
- Demonstrate the potential for success as judged by the Student Awards Committee.
This scholarship will be credited to the recipient’s bill in the form of a non-tuition educational expense grant. It must be used for educational expenses and may not be received as cash.
