Arthur M. Lee History Award

This fund originally recognized an outstanding senior student in the SUNY Brockport History program. The award honors Dr. Lee, professor emeritus of history, who taught at the College from 1941 to 1972.

Eligible students must

1. Be an accepted major in the Department of History in their first full academic year.
2. Demonstrate academic excellence as evidenced by a cumulative Brockport GPA of 3.0 or better.
3. Have completed, or is on track to complete, at least nine (9) credits in history at SUNY Brockport by the end of their first academic year.

This scholarship will be credited to the recipient’s bill in the form of a non-tuition educational expense grant. It must be used for educational expenses and may not be received as cash.
