Mathematics Departmental Award

This fund was established by the Mathematics Department to recognize and reward Mathematics majors having exceptionally strong academic records in their major program at SUNY Brockport.

Eligible students must

1. Have sophomore standing at the time of nomination and declared Mathematics as their major
2. Completed at least one semester at SUNY Brockport
3. Intend to complete the Mathematics program.
4. Have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or better in mathematics courses.
5. Show clear evidence of academic excellence supported by faculty who have worked with the student, for example, other scholastic activities such as participation in scholastic competitions and attendance at conferences and colloquia are taken into consideration when the nomination is reviewed.

This scholarship will be credited to the recipient’s bill in the form of a non-tuition educational expense grant. It must be used for educational expenses and may not be received as cash.
