Charles S. Thomas Memorial Award

This fund will continue the spirit of Dr. Thomas who sought to instill in his students a joy of living through the study of life. It is awarded in honor of the late Dr. Thomas, professor of Biology from 1959 to 1977. The purpose of this scholarship is to encourage students to pursue a career in the sciences.

This scholarship will be credited to the recipient’s bill in the form of a non-tuition educational expense grant. It must be used for educational expenses and may not be received as cash.

This scholarship is awarded to the student who received the highest GPA in BIO 111 for the current academic year – there is no application.
