Pylyshenko-Strasser Graduate Dance Award

This fund was established by Rose L. Strasser, Emeritus Professor (1946-1970) and founder of the Dance Department at SUNY Brockport to further the study of Dance at Brockport and recognize high achievement to a graduate student in the Department of Dance.

Eligible students must

1. Be a matriculated student in the graduate program in the Department of Dance.
2. Have completed at least nine (9) credits of study in the program.
3. Demonstrate a high level of academic achievement.
4. Have artistic and creative ability in dance with exceptional accomplishment in the chosen area of emphasis.
5. Have evidence of service to the dance department in areas such as production, teaching, public relations, and administration.

This scholarship will be credited to the recipient’s bill in the form of a non-tuition educational expense grant. It must be used for educational expenses and may not be received as cash.
