Rochester Kiwanis Scholarship

This scholarship was established in 2021 when the Eastridge Kiwanis Scholarship Fund was combined with the Rochester West Central Kiwanis Club Fund in order to create a larger endowment and due to the Eastridge Kiwanis Club no longer being in existence. The Kiwanis Club of Eastridge Inc. and the Rochester West Central Kiwanis Club both delivered funds to the State University College at Brockport Foundation, Inc., to establish a scholarship fund in 1984. This scholarship recognizes and encourages students to continue to demonstrate academic achievement as well as lead through service to their school, peers, and community.

Eligible students must
Be accepted for admission as an incoming, first-time freshman at SUNY Brockport at the undergraduate level.
Plan to and enroll with full-time academic status during their first year.
Be a resident of Monroe County, New York.
Demonstrate academic achievement and the promise to succeed in their chosen academic course of study as judged by the selection committee.

Preference will be given to students who have an academic profile not eligible for opportunities in the Extraordinary Academic Scholarship program, yet show great scholastic promise.

Incoming students are considered for scholarships based on their admissions application – they should not apply through the scholarship portal. For best consideration, students are encouraged to submit their application by February 15th.
