Earth Science Scholar Award
The Department of the Earth Sciences delivered funds to the State University College at Brockport Foundation, Inc. in February 1983 to establish the Department Scholar Award in Earth Science, Geology and Meteorology. In December 1983, the department delivered other funds to establish the Science Scholar Award. In May 2018, the department made the decision to combine these two funds with somewhat similar purposes to create a singular fund that will carry the name Earth Science Scholar Award.
