MHB Series: Marguerite Rock Ward Memorial Award

This scholarship recognizes an outstanding undergraduate student in the Childhood Inclusive Teacher Certification program in the Department of Education and Human Development whose activities during their time at Brockport reflect a concern for the welfare of others.

Eligible students must

  1. Be an undergraduate student in the Department of Education and Human Development, Childhood Inclusive Teacher Certification Program with at least two semesters of study left before completing the program.
  2. Have an excellent academic record and demonstrate a high potential for becoming an excellent elementary teacher as judged by the committee.
  3. Have demonstrated concern for the welfare of others through volunteer work.

This scholarship will be credited to the recipient’s bill in the form of a non-tuition educational expense grant, split evenly between the fall semester and the spring semester. It must be used for educational expenses and may not be received as cash.
