Katherine Parker Memorial Award In Art History
This fund was established in honor of Katherine Murphy Parker, art librarian, from 1971 until her death, December, 1994. Ms. Parker was a long ti.me favorite of her associates and students as both friend and advisor. The award recognizes a student who has demonstrated exceptional scholarship and achievement in art history and has shown exceptional ability to work with their peers and be an active and contributing member of the SUNY Brockport community.
Eligible students must
- Show a high level of academic achievement with potential for continuing study in the field of art history and be active in campus and community activities.
- Be a sophomore or junior.
- Be enrolled full time, having completed at least one academic semester in residence at SUNY Brockport.
- Have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Have evidence of involvement in co-curricular and community activities.
This scholarship will be credited to the recipient’s bill in the form of a non-tuition educational expense grant. It must be used for educational expenses and may not be received as cash.
